Here is my bucket list. It may change over the years, but I think this is a good start.
From time to time I will update my blog with items that I have started or finished.
Some of these things cost money, and some don’t. These are in random order. Tell me what you think of my list.
- Run a marathon. It doesn’t have to be a famous marathon like “The Boston Marathon” but any marathon will do. If it has a cause or charity that is tagged along with it, that would be a plus
- Ride the USA Four Corners tour on a motorcycle.
- Climb to the top of Half-Dome in Yosemite
- Visit every National park in the US
- Wear a size 40 inch waist again, or smaller!
- Teach Maddy how to ride a bicycle
- Go water skiing
- Obtain some educational goals. Certificates, degrees, or anything alike
- Being out of debt. I won’t include a house payment on the “debt” issue. If I kick the bucket with only a mortgage payment, I would be happy.
- Drive a Formula 1 car around the Indianapolis Speedway. It doesn’t have to be in an actual race; just a few laps would be nice.
- Dance with my daughter(s) and granddaughter at their wedding
- Go to General Conference.
- Go to the Salt Lake Temple.
- Drive a Cobra for a weekend
- Go to Hungry where my forefathers were born before they came to America.
- Not visit a lawyer’s office for 5 consecutive years, unless it is for my last will and testament or living will.
- See my mother learn how to swim
- Restore a classic car, truck or motorcycle.
- See a Paul McCartney live performance.
- Have a manuscript that I wrote published. It doesn’t have to sell, just be published.
- Get over my fear of heights
- Travel Europe and see the sights, and the little known sights.
Seems like a very "Mike" list. Which one are you going to tackle in 2011?
